SHOT SHOW 2019 MILITARY DAY

SHOT Show 2019 – Military Day

January 8, 2019 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

Win a Two Day Long-Range Precision Rifle Course Courtesy of Riton Optics

Join Riton Optics At The 2019 SHOT Show For Military Day- Wednesday, January 23rd.

Veteran-owned Riton optics welcomes special military guests to the 2019 SHOT Show booth #428. Conveniently located near the main food court on level one, you’re invited to enjoy a cup of Black Rifle Coffee with three American Heroes and win a two day long-range shooting course with Charlie Melton of Charlie Mike Precision (CMP).

Charlie Melton, John “Tig” Tiegen, and Ray “Cash” Care will be in the Riton booth to meet with buyers, writers, attendees, and fans on Wednesday, January 23rd.

Military Day Schedule:

 9:30-11:30 AM:  Ray “Cash” Care

Former NAVY SEAL, TV host and Mindset Trainer

Ray spent 10 of his 12 years in the Navy as a SEAL developing the skills and mindset that would shape the man we now know as one of the most dynamic motivational people alive today. After his time on the SEAL teams, he became an advisor for films and a host for several TV training competition shows.

These days Ray “Cash” Care leads people on a journey to find their inner warrior, pursue personal goals and overcome whatever obstacles may be in their way.

Not only is “Cash” traveling the US and working with companies on the “FROG mindset,” he also gets a chance to test outdoor equipment by asking the question, “how can I break this today?” Riton Optics did something right to earn this man’s SEAL of approval.

1:00-3:00 PM Charlie Melton

Former NAVY SEAL, Long-Range Instructor and Owner of CMP

Charlie started his journey with the Navy at age 19, and it was quick to see that Petty Officer Melton would make a great instructor- from educating his fellow SEAL’s on Delivery Vehicle Systems, to what he became best known for… Sniper instructor! Charlie was awarded the coveted “SEAL of the Year” designation in 2009 and was a Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient as well.

These days Charlie spends his time teaching the public how to reach extraordinary distances with their rifle at Charlie Mike Precision.  Passing on the sniper trade secret of managing your DOPE book to adjusting on the fly all while having the best time possible under his tutelage. Mr. Melton still reaches for those long shots himself having hit targets passed 5,000 yards- and GROWING.  An ambassador of Riton Optics, Charlie is proud to support a Veteran Owned optics company.

4:00-5:30 PM John “Tig” Tiegen

Co Author and Benghazi Hero

Whether it was joining the US Marine Corp at age 17 or his total 13 years of low-profile, high-threat security work, Marine Sargent John “Tig” Tiegen has proven to be one amazing warrior.
We all know him as one of the heroes that thwarted the attack on a American Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi Libya, then later co-wrote the book that lead to the movie 13 hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi.

“Tig” is still a hero to many by working programs like “Beyond the Battlefield”- a non-profit started by Mr. Tiegen and his wife, Margaret, or shooting matches for charity with his Riton Optics for that extra edge.

Charlie Mike Precision Shooting Course Giveaway

Come to the Riton Optics booth #428 and enter to win the two day long-range shooting course. The winner can look forward to learning how to master the 1000 yard shot all while having a great time with an American hero and sniper legend, Charlie Melton.

Details:

Day 1 – starts with a one hour class teaching the principles of shooting and how to practice them correctly and build muscle memory along with environmental effects on shooting. Next, go through rifle set up to make sure everyone’s rifle is set up correctly. Third, you will head to the range. The first shots are at 100yds to practice the principles of long-range shooting correctly and shooting tight groups. Finally, you will shoot every hundred yards out to 500- executing the principles of long-range shooting correctly and beginning to build muscle memory for each shot.

Day 2 – Your start on day 2 will be at the 600 yard target- then shoot every 100 yards out to 1000 yards while being coached on specific technique.  Finally, we will teach “wind calling” and environmental effects until you are comfortable. Operation Pay It Forward

There are plenty of worthwhile charities in this world. There are also a lot of folks that still need help – and many social benefits are available to those that are going through a bad time or experiencing medical issues as a result of their service.

Our nation’s veterans raised their hands and purposely put themselves in harm’s way to sacrifice for their fellow Americans.  Unfortunately, our society has not put the same measures in place to take care of the unique struggles and injuries our combat veterans return home with.  Most struggle to simply understand what our returning veterans are trying to cope with in civilian life.

Operation Pay It Forward was founded and organized by veterans that understand the healing process and help by providing a new focus and mission for these veterans. One of the biggest voids to be filled for returning veterans is the lack of camaraderie and brotherhood that kept them alive in combat situations. In the civilian life, this is most easily duplicated by spending time in the field hunting, fishing or simply enjoying the outdoors. OPIF’s goal is to provide a new focus for our returning veterans and provide them with a new mission to help save their brothers and sisters they served with.  The enemy in civilian life is often within the veteran and much more difficult to identify and fight.  They exist to help in that battle.

If you are attending the show this year, be sure to save some time to drop by the Riton booth, have some coffee, enter for a giveaway and get to know our team.

SHOOT IT LIVE 2018

September 14, 2018 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

Riton Optics is attending the 2018 SHOOT IT LIVE event on September 15th, in Hiawatha, UT.

SHOOT IT LIVE is a range event that brings shooting enthusiasts and manufacturers together in a fun and interactive atmosphere. With music, food trucks, and tents, it feels very similar to the carnivals we all loved as kids. Once inside, you can purchase tickets to demo/shoot different firearms at different shooting stations for roughly the price of the ammo you are shooting. Your ticket is then used to enter you into a raffle to win a prize a station you select! It’s gets even better though… the entire cost of your raffle ticket doesn’t go towards the event, it goes directly to support Warfighter Made, which is an amazing foundation that takes wounded veterans on therapy trips and modifies vehicles to accommodate their disabilities.

Riton is bringing one stellar set up to the even this year. In addition to getting to view our latest scopes (some that have not even been released for sale yet), participants at the Riton booth will be able to shoot VLTOR Weapon Systems 5.56 suppressed rifles while engaging Gnat Warfare’s mobile targets. And not to give away too many secrets but there may also be some small explosive opportunities at the Riton booth as well as the VLTOR/MILKOR M32A1 40mm Multi-Shot Grenade Launcher.

Come join the Riton crew with their partners, Gnat Warfare and VLTOR Weapon Systems at this crazy, fun event! For more information about the event, visit Shootitliveutah.com

Riton Optics Invites You to SHOT Show

January 18, 2018 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

RITON Optics USA Invites You to SHOT SHOW and Industry Day at the Range 2018, Offers Media Special Gift.
Jan 15, 2018 – Tucson, AZ
RITON Optics USA announces attendance at the 2018 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show and SHOT Industry Day at the Range in Las Vegas, NV.
SHOT Show Booth – N366

All Media is invited to come and claim a special gift just for credentialed media personnel.

Conveniently located just outside of the media room, RITON’s booth marks the first time this Law Enforcement and Military Veteran-Owned company will display its new Mod 7 hunting and tactical riflescopes as well as the official release of their second generation of Mod3 and Mod5 scopes that add push/pull, zero-locking turrets to an already successful platform. For those participating in SHOT Industry Day at the Range, you can see RITON in the main booth display area as well as shoot some firearms with their optics already installed.

Mod 7 1-8x28IR-H (Hunting)
This model was developed in consultation with noted big-game hunter and shooter Craig Boddington. Boddington is one of today’s most respected outdoor journalists. He spent the past forty years exploring our natural world as a hunter and sharing his knowledge and experiences in dozens of books and through thousands of published articles and essays. He’s a decorated Marine, an award-winning author, and continues to be a leading voice for conservation and ethical hunting around the world.
RITON developed a short to medium-range hunting scope that can be used for any hunting situation – including dangerous game. Their main objective was to create a well-balanced scope that could fit any caliber of weapon and provide quick acquisition targeting at a low magnification power but also have the ability for precise targeting at increased magnification levels.
The Mod7 1-8x28IR-H is a second focal plane scope with Riton’s German #4 Mod 1 Illuminated reticle paired with HD/ED glass, an indestructible one-piece aircraft grade main tube and is backed by Riton’s unlimited lifetime new replacement warranty.

Mod 7 1-8x28IR-T (Tactical)
The tactical model of the Mod 7 1-8 features the Riton Tactical Mod 1 Illuminated reticle in first focal plane. Because of the first focal plane reticle, this optic can be used on a true one power magnification similar to a “red dot” type sight – with both eyes open for quick target engagement while clearing rooms or during close-quarters combat. Where this scope and the First Focal Plane reticle offers a distinct advantage is once you increase the magnification.
The ability to accurately engage targets and range estimate with the First Focal Plane reticle allows this scope to fit into every conceivable tactical situation.
-The Mod 7 1-8x28IR-T (Tactical Version) will also be included in the new SHOT Show New Product Showcase.

Specifications:
1x-8x magnification
28mm objective
34mm main tube
HD/ED glass
Argon purged and sealed
Fully-multicoated lenses
Locking illumination control
Capped zero-reset windage and elevation turrets
Unlimited Lifetime new replacement Warranty

RITON’s Warranty:
If, at any time, your Riton product has issues and is not functioning in the manner it should – NO MATTER WHAT – they will replace it.
Not “repair.”
Replace.
There are no “warranty cards” or “online forms” or “receipts” necessary. Simply send your optic and contact information to RITON, and they’ll send you another.
