In August of 2020, we created a 6 person team to compete in the Tactical Games, a 2 day competition that combines physical fitness and tactical shooting.

So it’s four o’clock in the morning, and I’m waiting for the rest of the Riton team to start driving to Price, Utah for the tactical games. Not super stoked about being awake this early. Not my thing, unless I’m hunting, and I’m definitely not hunting today. So I’m trying to be chipper because I guarantee they’re gonna show up and they’re gonna be super over the top.
I feel like I’m going to tryouts with Major League Baseball coming out of high school. I don’t know what’s gonna happen you know, I’m gonna go out there I’m gonna try to go 100% too fast.

Day 1 tactical gains, I’m walking up to Brady’s first battle course. So we’ll see how this goes.
What’s your what’s your strategy?

strategy so after seeing the first guys go, positioning of the arms on the former’s carry you’re not a we have to hold the axle so actually getting the the handle is the forums i think is going to be key. And then from there so suck it up. Make it make the shots count number is finished yet so every shots super important.

Day 2 tactical games. This morning on this pretty intense the guys have to run about three quarter mile with full kit and then they have to run back shoot. pistols, single handed rifle. And then sandbags for bonus so we’re waiting the first ones are coming around. It is intense though.

Hey guys, I just wanted to do a kind of a recap on my first ever tactical game experience at an amazing time awesome taking a ride on optics team up to Utah after price and kind of a learning experience actually, for me. I’ve done a lot of that through military and law enforcement but doing kind of the strategy behind kind of each battle the strategy behind kind of how you get through your progression of the day and and how you take on each battle. That was definitely a new one for me and something I probably need to work on versus just kind of brute strength and just tackling it definitely could have used a little more strategy a little more. Kind of planning everything out with how I shot and how I did the actual exercises. I love doing it can’t wait to do it again. Big thanks to all the volunteers. Everybody out there is top notch. So awesome event looking forward to the next one. Appreciate it.
