Operation Pay It Forward

There are plenty of worthwhile charities in this world. There are also a lot of folks that still need help – and many social benefits are available to those that are going through a bad time or experiencing medical issues as a result of their service.

Our nation’s veterans raised their hands and purposely put themselves in harm’s way to sacrifice for their fellow Americans.  Unfortunately, our society has not put the same measures in place to take care of the unique struggles and injuries our combat veterans return home with.  Most struggle to simply understand what our returning veterans are trying to cope with in civilian life.

Operation Pay It Forward was founded and organized by veterans that understand the healing process and help by providing a new focus and mission for these veterans. One of the biggest voids to be filled for returning veterans is the lack of camaraderie and brotherhood that kept them alive in combat situations. In the civilian life, this is most easily duplicated by spending time in the field hunting, fishing or simply enjoying the outdoors. OPIF’s goal is to provide a new focus for our returning veterans and provide them with a new mission to help save their brothers and sisters they served with.  The enemy in civilian life is often within the veteran and much more difficult to identify and fight.  They exist to help in that battle.

If you are attending the show this year, be sure to save some time to drop by the Riton booth, have some coffee, enter for a giveaway and get to know our team.

2018 Growth and beyond

BIG NEWS ON THE HORIZON

Best Growth Year In Company History Means Changes at Riton Optics

November 8, 2018 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

Riton Optics has grown exponentially in 2018, and is looking forward to continuing that growth into 2019 and beyond. In order to focus their sales approach at the dealer level and to better serve a vastly expanded dealer base, Riton has partnered with four Manufacturer’s Representation Groups across the country.

Transitioning from an in-house sales team to these vetted groups enables Riton to put more ‘boots on the ground’, providing dealers with more accessibility to the Riton product line and ensuring consistency in their sales, corporate culture and company message.

We love watching people pick up our optics with an instant awe of the clarity and quality. When we tell them the price their faces usually light up with amazement. Our biggest task is getting the optics in front of people across the country so they can experience just that. With the addition of these rep groups, there will be much more accessibility to the line.
– said Founder and CEO, Brady Speth.

In starting this endeavor, the Riton management team invested a great deal of time with extended reviews of each of the groups and their individual representatives in each area.

According to Riton’s Director of Sales, Todd Neice, “Beyond reviewing each of the potential rep groups for historical successes and relationships, it was very important to us to review their people and their company philosophies. At Riton, we are about people and service in everything we do and we wanted rep groups that would emulate those philosophies.”

Each of the four groups that will be representing Riton across the country were selected in accordance of those items and the Riton corporate team has set practices in place to ensure that they will closely connected with each representative group’s leadership as well as each representative that is servicing dealer accounts.

Coverage for dealers across the country will now fall under the following partnered organizations:

TALO (Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma) + Mississippi: SCHOOLER AND ASSOCIATES
Schooler and Associates has been a successful sales organization in the TALO territory for 20 years providing professional representation for outdoor sporting goods manufacturers to all avenues of distribution. Their team currently offers sales and marketing services for 5 states, including Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi.

We are excited to partner with Riton Optics to help develop the TALO territory. The Riton brand brings a solid line of optics with competitive pricing and backed by what we have found is the strongest warranty in the industry. It is our goal to penetrate the dealer and distributor markets to maximize the growth of their brand.
– Schooler and Associates

MINK (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas) Upper Midwest (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin) and Great Lakes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio + Kentucky: EVERNHAM SALES ASSOCIATES.

The ESA team currently offers sales and marketing services for seventeen states, from the Ohio/Pennsylvania border to the Kansas/Colorado border and from North Dakota to Texas.

Our recent partnership with Riton Optics for thirteen states is a rare opportunity to grow with a new and exciting brand of sport and tactical optics. Riton Optics brings incredible quality along with incredible value to a very competitive marketplace and we are fortunate and thrilled to be a part of their rapidly growing brand.
– Mike Evernham, President, Evernham Sales Associates

MOD 7 4-32×56 IR FFP

Riton Optics Announces a NEW, High Magnification RifleScope: The Mod 7 4-32x56IR FFP

November 7, 2018 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

11-2-2018
Tucson, AZ
For Immediate Release

Tucson-based Riton Optics has enhanced their positioning among long range and tactical shooters with the addition of a 4-32×56 illuminated reticle rifle scope. The story of Riton’s new optic begins not in the marketing or the development department, but, rather, “in the field” with Riton’s dealers and customers.

Riton’s product line was developed out of practical application and is rooted in the principle that any hard-working man or woman should be able to buy quality optics at an affordable price.
In the initial phases of product development at Riton, the focus was on the “basics,” including optics designed specifically for the AR-15 platform and high quality products for hunting and tactical applications. Over the past few years as the product has flowed into the market, the feedback received has been resoundingly positive with people touting the clarity of the optics, the company story, and the service provided by the company.

Riton firmly believes in continual evolution of the product line, most commonly through the input and comments from their customers, fellow hunters and shooters. Originally these inputs led Riton to the creation of a higher power, First Focal Plane riflescope. Riton delivered with their Mod 5 6-24x50IR FFP with a First Focal Plane, illuminated reticle at a jaw-dropping price of $599.00.

Over the past year, Riton has, once again, been listening intently to the voice of the customer.
The requests have been coming in for a riflescope with a greater magnification range, zero stop turrets and a “Christmas tree” style reticle that was both illuminated and First Focal Plane.

According to Brady Speth, Founder and CEO, “The challenge of this optic was putting all these amazing features into one optic and control costs to still provide it at a price point that beats all of the competition and is clearly, by Riton’s mission, the best value in the industry.”
Riton delivered this week with the announcement of the Riton Mod 7 4-32x56IR FFP. This optic incorporates many of the customer requests in a robust design to conquer the most challenging applications.

The Mod 7 4-32x56IR FFP features:
• 32x power
• First Focal Plane
• Riton Illuminated Precision Shooting Reticle
• Riton Tactical Zero Stop Turrets
• Riton HD/ED Glass
• Riton Rugged Construction
• Riton Performance Coating

And remarkably, the Mod 7 4-32x56IR FFP with all these features comes in at an MSRP of $1469.99.

Riton’s technical expert, who is also a certified long-range instructor and has personally shot over a mile with his Riton scopes was quoted saying the following:

“With the quality and features this scope has, it would retail at almost $3000 if it had any other company’s name on it. The difference is that this is a Riton Optic and we believe in providing high quality, high performance optics at the industry’s best value.”

Whether you are a hunter, hobby shooter, Precision Rifle Shooter, or .22 caliber competitor, Riton’s new Mod 7 4-32x56IR FFP is sure to be a last stop optic for you.

With Riton Optics, you will SEE THE DIFFERENCE in value, quality and service. As the only Law Enforcement and Military Veteran Owned optics company in the world, Riton was founded on the premise that a person’s hard- earned dollar should buy quality optics and the best service at every price point. With an unwavering passion for offering high quality optics at the industry’s most competitive prices, Riton is dedicated to always putting the customer first. Every Riton optic goes through a dual inspection process in Tucson, AZ and is backed by the Riton Promise Warranty which includes a rapid new product replacement on all returns and requires no proof of purchase. Riton Optics to Exhibit, Present and 2018 TRIGGRCON

July 23, 2018 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

What is, “Triggrcon?”
Triggrcon is a tactical firearms related, 4-day event that takes place in Bellevue, Washington The first two days of the event include a range day with the opportunity to sample and fire different weaponry from a number of manufacturers on site. The “industry day” Thursday is open to both media and firearm industry attendees. The final 2 days of the event are open to the public.

Want to learn more about TRIGGRCON? CLICK HERE.

Each year, Triggrcon showcases the newest, most innovative companies and products in the tactical firearms industry. In order to maintain an intimate and exclusive environment for media and the exhibitors to have real quality time with one another, the number of vendors and attendees for media and industry are capped at a pre-set amount.
For industry professionals, Triggrcon builds on existing relationships while fostering new partnerships. With several leading companies coordinating major product launches for the show for 2018, there should be some “first shots” both on the range and with a camera for media to have something new and exciting for their respective audiences. Media and industry attendees will experience a coordinated effort of manufacturers not seen at other shows while firearms enthusiasts will have a pass to a show that normally is only offered to industry professionals.

Riton Optics, a veteran owned, Arizona-based company with some of the best optics for the money on the market today is participating at the 2018 Triggrcon event as an exhibitor and will be showing and allowing testing of their full product line. For the first time, the production models of the new 1-8x28IR Hunting and Tactical versions of Riton optics will be available at both the booth and in the range for hands on trial. At the Range day event, Riton will be partnering with Patriot Ordinance Factory and Quarter Circle 10 in their respective shooting bays. Additionally, Riton will be presenting two open breakaway sessions during the event where they will introduce the company, the Riton brand, and their product line.
Be sure to check out the Riton booth, # XXXX and enter to win a XXXXXX or a XXXXXX.

Increased Demand, Sales Growth Moves RITON Optics to New Location

July 11, 2018 by Calley Carpenter in News Stories

For the second time in as many years, RITON optics has outgrown their facilities and is moving to a brand new location.
In the past 12 months Riton Optics has experienced rather remarkable growth. While other companies in the optics world are cutting back on their ad expenses, hunkering down for a perceived “slowdown” in the outdoor and firearm world, and even closing their doors forever, RITON can hardly keep products in stock.
It was only a short time ago that the company was started in a small office suite with two employees. Within two year’s time of selling product, the company has expanded into two additional, connected suites and a large shipping and warehouse area. With the addition of operations, marketing and sales staff the company has quickly outgrown their space AGAIN.
Company CEO, Brady Speth, believes in “controlled” growth.

“Our goal is to grow the company while keeping high quality optics and high-end customer service as the core of the business.”
RITON grew their team in time for the 2018 SHOT Show, adding a full time operations manager, a national sales manager, contracting with Ace Luciano for strategic initiatives and public relations, and adding Calley Carpenter as the new Director of Marketing.

The new team has already produced great things.

In the last several months, the company has made a concerted effort to get their products in dealer shops around the United States- more than tripling the number of dealers in the past year. According to RITON’s Director of Sales, Todd Neice, “It’s important for us to make sure that our customers have easy access to the product. Once they pick it up, see the clarity of the glass and the quality of the optic, we know that they will become a valued customer.

At RITON, we are pushing the limits in every facet of our sales. For example, we are upping the lifetime warranty game by covering all electronics and have implemented a 48 hour turn around for any product that hits the warranty department.”

Another reason RITON has grown so quickly is the extremely favorable business terms for their dealer base. Neice explains, “Dealers across the country are realizing that we are the perfect fit for their business. We offer a tiered program that doesn’t segregate any dealer, so no matter how large or how small, we have a program that fits their needs. We back it up with regional rep customer service and dealer employee training. If you asked our dealers what catches their eye other than the fact that we have top quality products at a working mans price, it would be our dealer margins- which are some of the best in the business.

For our dealers, we work off of a “gross profit”-not “mark up” model. This is a very big advantage for them. Most of the competition work off of “mark up”- which can mean less profit per item for the dealer.”

The movement to create nationwide access to the product line is working and the growth is evident. The company’s recent expansion has allowed them to take on the additional staff and inventory necessary to meet customer needs. It is also likely that with the trending sales, the company will continue to make additions to their team.
With the continued growth, the company has now moved to a new location with additional warehousing and office staff.
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported our brand and company. From our partners in the military and law enforcement to each and every shooter praising our optics, our success is reflective of your support and we greatly appreciate you allowing us to be your partner in your shooting adventures,” says Speth.

As a USA home-grown optics company founded by Law Enforcement and Military veterans RITON takes their commitment to quality and service seriously. Their passion for shooting and the outdoors and those who enjoy it translates into everything they do. From their unlimited lifetime warranty on every product they make, to their high quality control and their dedicated, supportive service staff, RITON puts the customer first. Give them a call, send them an email or find them on the range or at one of their nationwide dealers.

Bread and butter.
Cake and Ice Cream.
Eggs and Bacon.
Coffee and Cream.
…Rifles and Quality Optics
One just isn’t the same without the other!

Since 1919, Mossberg® has been the leader in introducing important design breakthroughs to the firearm industry. Many product features pioneered by Mossberg® are now the standards by which all modern firearms are judged. Never content with the status quo, their men and women constantly strive to improve and update the capabilities of all Mossberg® products.
Riton Optics is a much newer company with a compatible vision- “The Pursuit of Precision” to raise the standard of optics while maintaining affordability for the average American.

The two companies came together to discuss a series of cobranded hunts, the first of which is a California deer hunt featuring Riton Optics and Mossberg products and staff.
Professional hunter and Riton brand ambassador Donna Boddington will be participating in the event, along with her Husband, Craig Boddington, who collaborated on Riton’s new “Dangerous Game” 1-8x scope, as well as several other well-known industry writers.

In continued support of the growing relationship between Riton and Mossberg, the Riton Optics display at the NRA Annual Meeting will exclusively feature Mossberg firearms to showcase the Riton product line.

Riton was quickly adopted by the tactical and practical shooting world due to their law enforcement and military veteran roots, but in 2018 the company is making a big push into the hunting market, including the development of several other hunting optics and spotting scopes. Riton’s product line currently includes a set of 10×42 binoculars that are a great addition for any hunter’s kit. The HD 10×42 binoculars have fully multicoated lenses for a sharp, clear view – right up to the edges of your field of vision. Riton binocs are argon purged and sealed to prevent corrosion and for incredible water and fog proofing.

They have proven so popular that Riton has completely sold out of inventory and will have them back in stock late this month or early next month.

If you’re planning on being at the NRA 2018 Annual Meeting and Convention in Dallas, TX this week, be sure to stop by the Riton booth and check them out. Not only will you get a chance to see some of the best optics at the best prices on the market and some fantastic Mossberg firearms, there will also be contests and prizes for attendees as well as all of the Riton Optics products offered for sale for the duration of the show.
