I love this red dot and use it every day. For me the best future for me is the shake awake. Compared to my original MPRD I like the MPRD 2 much better.. The only issue I see is in very low low light the red dot is very hard to see and in total darkness there is no red dot. Some minor adjustment would be great.

Mounted on a Taurus G3 Toro, fits great, must use 2 screws that came with gun.
Does not stick out past slide or mounting plate. Definitely a micro red dot.

Installed on Canik Mete SFT. Fits perfectly using mounting plates and screws that came with the pistol (Canik specifically states to use their included hardware). Easy to set up and so far functions perfectly! It does feel a little small for the size of the pistol, but due to the shape of the slide the Shield footprint is exactly the correct width and cowitness is good. Shake awake feature is excellent, and so far the dot is on every time I move the pistol. I would prefer some sort of shutoff switch so the dot isn’t constantly in while it’s riding around in the holster and could train iron sights without removing the optic, but that’s my only gripe. Time will tell, but so far an excellent product!

I was initially unsure about this optic, but after doing some research, reading a few reviews and taking advantage of a sale Sportsman’s had on this optic, I made the purchase. I also was unsure if the MPRD would fit on my S&W, M&P M2.0 10mm but I quickly found out it would work with 1 of the plates supplied by S&W and screws as well.
Two weeks later I took my new rig out to the desert, set up a gong about 70 ft away and hit my point of aim consistently. 150 rounds of Sellier & Bellot 180 FMJ and JHP. VERY HAPPY with my purchase and would do it again in a heart beat. It’s a local company to me as well. I’m in phoenix, AZ, they are in Tucson. American company, definite plus.
Also, the optic remained solidly in place and the dot did not deviate from its original point of aim which I had set before shooting. GREAT OPTIC! I highly recommend it.

I bought this optic about 2 months ago. The shake awake is what caught my eye. I didn’t like how it doesn’t light up in total darkness, but I have night sights so it was not a deal breaker. But I took my Glock 19 gen 5 mos to my home range and freshly installed I had to make small up and down adjustments. But it was grouping great. I’ve put about 800 to 1000 rounds down range, and the optic is still staying dead on. I will recommend this sight to friends. I would also say that if your on the fence about this optic. Take the swing on it. You will not be disappointed.

This is the first red dot I have ever purchased. I read numerous reviews and marketing materials and several things drew me to take a chance on this one: real glass aperture; aluminum body; auto-off; auto-brightness; shake awake and price. It is mounted to a XD-s Mod 2 3.3″ OSP in 45ACP. Mounting was straightforward and simple. At the range I used a Caldwell Matrix rest to set initial zero at 7 yards. Adjustments were minimal and groups, with factory hardball, pleasingly small. I moved out to 25 yds and fired standing at a standard police silhouette target. One small adjustment in windage and I fired over 40 rounds never leaving the 9 ring. It held zero flawlessly and sometimes, to my chagrin, sent rounds exactly where I pointed it. So impressed I’m encouraging my wife to replace her Bodyguard 380 w/laser with a OSP ready just so we can get another MPRD 2!
