So just leaving Flagstaff. This is part of the the drive where its kinda settin in. It’s gettin more real.
Looking for pumpkin heads, full mast, and chip dips and gotta stay in the magic triangle lower thirds. Other than that Ryan and I are just going to enjoy the ride up.
About an hour, hour and half out. I was telling Ryan, it’s kinda cool, this whole trip and the opportunity here of course. Never been to this part of the state. And, I’m not even gonna try to explain it, let’s just let it speak for itself.
Ryan 1:08
Oh, there he is.
Tim Anderson 1:13
Hi Ryan, how’s your documenting?
Ryan 1:17
It’s going good look at this. Spoiled. Brought up all his gear. We got heat goin, we got cots. And tomorrow. What are we doing tomorrow morning?
Tim Anderson 1:33
We’re gonna smoke tatanka
Ryan 1:36
Morning sunshine.
Tim Anderson 1:39
Morning Ryan. How are you?
Ryan 1:41
Whatcha working on there?
Tim Anderson 1:43
My left contact lens.
Ryan 1:44
Okay. Is that going to help you see a Bison today?
Tim Anderson 1:51
Yeah.
We are in a way better spot now. So cross our fingers. Pumpkin heads on pumpkin head.
He’s just standin. I can’t see vitals on him.
The second shot while he was runnin I think was a little far back. He’s just not movin. He ate all four.
Ryan 5:06
How’d that scope work out?
Tim Anderson 5:09
Riton for the win bro!
I don’t think this could have worked out any better way. And the other cool thing is he’s collared. So like Ryan’s right we’re gonna get to learn a lot about this dude. He’s not unknown if you will. So I’m excited.
Big ol’ cool, like I understand now why everyone does shoulder mounts. Like the amount of hair up here is insane. It’s my entire hand just to get down to the skin. On his his flanks he’s got scars. It’s a pretty cool bull man.
